Melissa Waudby

BA Honours Degree Acting

After training and working as an actor at Rose Bruford College, Melissa set up a production company with her partner, specialising in theatre and film producing and writing.

Alongside these theatre and film production roles she also works as a casting director, her ongoing work includes BBC Crimewatch every month, Sky’s Excess series, ITV’s Hunted and Channel 4’s The Great Dome Robbery and Discovery’s Inventions series, in addition to numerous Theatre, film and commercial work. Her last two summers have been spent getting frightened in the Berkshire countryside as production manager on a soon to be released British horror films, The Scar Crow and Not Alone.

Melissa has co-produced the last four successful pantomimes at theBROADWAY,Barking; Aladdin and Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Dick Whittington, the last two of which she was also co-writer and designer.

She has previously taught both Singing and Acting classes at Glenlyn Stage School in South London, with pupils taking part in performances at the Broadway Theatre in Catford. Melissa currently teaches year 11 pupils at Haberdasher Askes Hatcham College in South London on a weekly basis and works with the LEB providing a one day workshop for schools during term time.
